Background

Carol was from Edinburgh, and John from London. They migrated independently to Australia in 1967 and 1971 respectively. They met in Sydney in 1971 and married in 1972.
They have three fine children; Andrew (1974), Simon (1975) and Lisa (1978).
John & Carol have lived together in Sydney (Cremorne, Dee Why and Mona Vale), Perth (Padbury), and Broome (Cable Beach).
Carol had always been a Primary Teacher and John always worked in Computers (Lloyd's Bank, Ampol, Qantas, R&I Bank, BankWest and Unisys West).
In late 2006 John was burnt out from a working life in IT, and Carol needed a "new" knee. John and Carol took the opportunity to take early retirement, and move to Broome. They were then both actively involved in many volunteer organisations:

After five years of fighting ovarian cancer, Carol's body finally gave in and she passed away on 20th October 2017, free from pain.
